Ladylikeness is defined at LLL as the ultimate standard of a female demonstrating her inner qualities and code of character to society based on her personality, etiquette, and communication.

Our History

In 2002, the thought of LadyLike Legacies came to mind of founder and CEO, Minerva A. Dantzler. At the time, she was a single mother, a full-time business administrator, and a full-time adult evening degree student. Her senior project was to create and present her own company to the class. She chose to be a successful author who wrote books on proper etiquette and how to be a lady since that was her forte and practice. Having worn diverse hats as a lady and being in diverse environments, Minerva observed that many girls and women suffered from low self-esteem and lacked knowledge and training on how to be a lady. Thanks to her mother and grandmother's etiquette teachings, she pursued with the idea to be an author and received a grade A on her senior project.

However,  "idea" of assisting others in this fashion never left Minerva's mind. She was a certified Guardian Ad Litem volunteer advocating on behalf of neglected and abused children. It gave her joy to be a role model to the children, teach them manners, and serve as a compass assisting them to a better home, but it also led her to see that many of the mothers was not polite, polished or professional with her, at home, or in court. Minerva knew what they needed and that she could show them how to be nicer and communicate better.

After years of mentoring others, public speaking opportunities, and assisting folk with business etiquette tips, Minerva knew that being polite, polished, and professional were powers that would enrich young girls and women lives and demonstrates excellent customer service, respect, and kindness. She dreamed of owning a consulting company, continued mentoring others, applied her business development experience, and developed personal and professional action plans for her company.

In 2016, Minerva made her dream a reality and launched LadyLike Legacies! To date, she continues to mentor, inspire, and consult with individuals and organizations on why it is imperative to be polite, polished, and professional.

Every female will develop into a woman, but not every woman is a lady.
